12:50 pm - Hello, goodbye.
So this is just kindof one last shout out to my remaining LiveJournal friends. As you've probably noticed, I've long-since stopped posting on here. This is for a multitude of reasons, primary among them that for several months I wasn't blogging at all. But also that I needed to have my blogs not be too web-visible for a while (yes, yes, I know. Once something is out there, it's out there. But you can at least make an effort to reduce the visibility A LITTLE).
ANYWAY. The reasons for all that are now long gone, and so I've decided to go back to writing a bit. But I've got very little interest in doing so here on LJ, so I've gone back to having a WordPress installation running on my own server. You can view my new blog at AshRhodes.com/blog and the RSS feed is located here.
I even went through the arduous (and I DO mean arduous . . . it was a pain in the ass!) task of importing all of my blog entries from the copious different locations which I have enjoyed over the years, including even hand-parsing several years worth from back in the Aberdeen/Glasgow days.
What? I was bored.
So there you have it. This is pretty much faretheewell to LiveJournal for me, but I hope you all come by to visit every once in a while and say hi on the new blog . . .
